WHAT IS KUNDALINI YOGA

Kundalini Yoga is an ancient science which combines postures, movements, breath, stretching, relaxation, meditation, rhythm and sound current, to work on every aspect of our being: physical, mental and subtle body. The Kundalini experience integrates the Self with Reality, giving a broader vision and sensitivity to think and act more efficiently, in harmony with the True Essence of the Self, that we call Sat Nam.

On Kundalini Yoga. My experience

When I was thirteen years old, I started having visions and an attraction to the Eastern ways of devotion and prayer. Yoga was not known in Italy at that time. Nonetheless, my adventurous Gemini uncle, travelling the world for work, introduced me to the tales and imagery of the East. I still remember the shapes in my mind of Buddhist monks, sitting still, in a peaceful inner world...and I realized that is what I want to do. That's what I want to be. I had to wait seven more years, when a friend at the University introduced me to someone that had just started taking Yoga classes near the Pantheon.

Finally my Spirit felt home and I was drawn to it like a magnet. I recognized my path, my love, my life. That is why I feel so adamant to share, allowing other  to have a chance to practice these sacred tools, this discipline that is my anchor, the vehicle that takes me to my Reality.

The Kundalini sets, kriyas, mantras and sacred chanting soon became my daily love affair...and still are today. With the practice of Kundalini Yoga, the Yoga of Awareness, you can find peace and flow through life with harmony and a neutral mind. This is one of the biggest gifts.

After a few years practicing Kundalini Yoga, I was introduced to Gatka, the martial art of the Sikhs. Once again, I was elevated and experienced that I could fly. Adding more Shakti (power, energy) into my Essence, my seva (service) became more effective.

Through Gatka, I learned to be a powerful warrior and to allow my head to be of service to my heart.

Gatka is known as the Dance of the Sword. Twirling, non-stop movements allow one to build a powerful, magnetic shield, where fears and doubts can not dwell. This is an amazing way to live! Come and experience it with me.
